Well this is one of the most exciting posts I’ve done! We just booked a trip to Disneyland Paris! I’ve been before when I was very young, but they’ve added so much to it since then, given how many Disney movies have come out in the last 16 years!
To be fair, I don’t remember an AWFUL lot about it from way back when but I do remember it actually being the happiest place on earth. Obviously now I’m DYING to get back and experience it as an adult! I always said if I was going to go back to Disney – I want to do it “properly” i.e staying in a Disney hotel and having the FULL experience. We’ve chosen to stay at the Disneyland Santa Fe Hotel – which is “Cars” themed. I believe it’s located around a 20 minute walk from the Disney parks which is perfect if we choose to stay at the parks late and watch the parades and fireworks.
Unfortunately our trip isn’t booked until February but I’ve already put together a list of things I was to do/experience on our trip! So without any further ado, here’s my Wishlist:
1. Meet Mickey Mouse
Ok I’m sure this is on the top of everyone’s Disneyland Wishlist. Mickey Mouse has been my favourite Disney character since I was tiny. I have Mickey merchandise for everything – t-shirts, backpack, purse, key ring, teddies, lunchbox, you name it – I have it! So meeting the Mouse would really make my trip super-special.
2. Buy My Ears
It doesn’t matter how old you are, Mickey ears are ESSENTIAL Disneyland attire. I don’t know whether I’m going to buy mine at the park, or online before I go – if you know any good online stores that sell Mickey ears – please send links my way!

3. Bring Back Some Cool Merchandise
I’m going to have to set myself a really strict budget. If I had it my way I would bring home so many cuddly toys that we’d have to book out the whole plane. However, I definitely don’t want to come back empty-handed, I want to have some sort of cool souvenir to remember our adventure by.
4. See a Live Show/Parade
Seeing as we’re going to Disney for a few days – I want to cram in as many shows and parades as possible. Top of my list are The Lion King and Frozen.
If you’ve been to Disneyland Paris – I would LOVE to hear from you! What did you do? Any rides/attractions that you think are completely unmissable?! Restaurants that you had a particularly good experience at?
I’m also really keen to find out any hacks/tips – Disney is really expensive so if there are any ways to keep the costs down while you’re there, let me know in the comments!
I hope you have an amazing time! I went a couple of months ago and loved it☺️

Thank you so much Brooke – I can’t wait. This is going to be the first of many Disney posts before I go! x
ImagineEarsUK on Etsy are my favourite seller for Mickey ears her designs are amazing, as cute as the park ears are they are really uncomfortable so I would get some before you go! Also the Parade features characters from a number of films so you’re bound to see Lion King and Frozen unless there’s a certain festival themed parade when you’re there!

I’m sitting on the ImagineEars page on Etsy now – I want to buy all of them! Thanks for the tips about the park ears – the last thing I want is a headache so I’ll definitely be buying my ears online! x
They’re all gorgeous aren’t they, I’ve ordered Tangled and Brave ones for my next trip! The park ears I literally put on for photos and then had to take off as they killed me x
Oh seriously? I’ll definitely be giving the park ears a miss. I’ve narrowed my choice down to 4 pairs of ears – but it look a long time as they’re all stunning! I’ll let you know which ones I end up buying! x
Yes please do I’d love to see which ones you pick up!x
