We’ve eaten at Downtown Restaurant at Disneyland Paris 3 times now, and it’s by far my favourite place to eat on-property.
About Downtown Restaurant
Downtown is located inside the newly-opened Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel. It’s a buffet-style restaurant with 3 stations representing different cuisines: American, Italian and Chinese.
The Food
Before I start showing you food photos – I just want to state that these photos were taken over several visits to Downtown. We did not eat all of this food in one sitting!
I’ve tried to share as much variety as possible, but there are some things like the mini burgers and roast potatoes that we tend to get every single time we go!

Desserts
I have a real sweet tooth so I tend to go a bit wild in the desserts section. My favourite is by far the Captain America panna cotta.

The Theming
I think this is where Downtown falls down a bit. Everywhere else within Hotel New York is really beautifully themed but aside from a window of character comic art at either end, there really is no theming in this restaurant.
With that being said, the food is so good that I hadn’t really noticed that there was no theming until I sat down to start writing this post!
The Price
Dining for adults at Downtown is €42 and for children it’s €30. Drinks are not included for adults, but for some reason one drink is included for children!
We thought it was well worth the money and much better food than any of the other buffet’s we’ve been to at Disneyland Paris.
How to Book
Reservations for Downtown are notoriously hard to get because it’s so popular.
You can book a meal at Downtown Restaurant using the official Disneyland Paris app, or you can call the dining reservations number: +33 1 60 30 40 50 (international call rates apply).
You can also ask your hotel concierge or Guest Services in the parks (City Hall in Disneyland Park, Guest Services in Walt Disney Studios) to reserve a table for you, but this will be subject to availability.
Our Top Tips
- Book in advance! Both restaurants in Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel are extremely popular and reservations fill up quickly.
- If you haven’t been able to get a reservation for your dates – keep checking the app right up until the day you want to go – you may be able to grab a last-minute cancellation.
Overall
This is without a doubt my favourite restaurant on Disney property, possibly in the world. I know that’s really high praise, but having eaten there several times now, I’ve never been disappointed.
The quality of food served here is outstanding, and streets ahead of any of the other restaurants at Disneyland Paris. I really hope this is the start of better food all round and that Downtown has raised the bar for the rest of the resort.
Again, I highly recommend ensuring that you have a reservation for this restaurant so that you’re not left disappointed on the day.
