Whether you’re an avid Instagram user like me, or you just want to capture gorgeous memories with your family and friends – this is the post for you!
I’ve really loved putting this list together. You can tell from the more recent photos that my confidence in front of the camera has hugely improved!
In addition to the spots I’ve listed here, there are a lot of seasonal photo opportunities during Halloween and Christmas. For the purpose of this post, I wanted to showcase the spots that are available all year round.
TOP TIP – You might have noticed from my Instagram , that I very rarely have other guests in the background of my photos. This is because I like to take most of them during Extra Magic Hours when the park is quieter.
Before we go any further – make sure you’re following me on Instagram so you can keep up to date with all the latest photos spots in Disneyland Paris.
The Castle
Let’s get the most obvious one out of the way first, shall we? My favourite place to get castle photos is this little platform to the left hand side of the castle. However, Chateau du Belle au Bois Dormant truly has no bad angles and you’ll get a gorgeous shot no matter where you stand!
The Pink Porch
This is one is truly a hidden gem. The pink porch is hidden just off Discovery Arcade, if you’re walking towards the castle, it’s on your left hand side! This is also a fab place to take 5 minutes if you’re feeling a little overwhelmed by crowds or to hide from bad weather!
Disneyland Casting Door
It took me a couple of trips before I found this one. If you’re walking down Main Street towards the castle, this door is on the left hand side. You can probably tell from my face that being a Cast Member at Disneyland Paris is my dream job!
Main Street Gazebo

You can’t miss this one, right at the entrance to Disneyland Park. I would advised getting this shot during Extra Magic Hours, as the gazebo is often used for character meet and greets during the day!
Mickey and Minnie Balloons
As you can see, there are a few opportunities to get photos with the balloons in Disneyland Park. I may be biased but I think Disneyland Paris has the nicest balloons out of all the Disney parks.
The first photo was taken outside the Storybook Store on Main Street. The second photo was taken at the end of Main Street, opposite Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant!
It’s A Small World Wall
This is a super popular pastel wall which can be found to the right hand side of the It’s a Small World ride. This is also where the main parade starts, so steer clear of this one around 5pm!
Cinderella’s Carriage
This one really speaks for itself. You can find this stunning carriage in Fantasy Land near the Auberge de Cendrillon restaurant. Cinderella often greets guests at the carriage during the day, so again it’s worth getting this shot during Extra Magic Hours.
Toy Story Walls
These two walls are recent additions to the Walt Disney Studios park. You can find them at the exit of Toy Story Playland, on the way to Cars Road Trip. I had so much fun taking pictures here and I hope more walls like this start to appear in the Studios!
The Sword and the Stone

You can find this fun photo opp in Fantasy Land, directly behind the castle. I can’t say I’ve ever seen anyone pull the sword from the stone, but it’s certainly fun to try!
Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
This is where I took one of my best performing Instagram photos ever! You can find the Tea Party beside the Mad Hatter’s Teacups ride. I would advise you to get this photo first thing in the morning, or in the evening as you can often find the Alice in Wonderland characters there during the day.
The Laugh and Go Food Truck
The Laugh and Go Food Truck is a firm favourite for me and my Disney friends (as you can see from our t-shirts!). You can find this hotbed of culinary delight in Walt Disney Studios park on the way to Cars Road Trip.
Top Tip – If you post your photo with the Laugh and Go truck on Instagram, make sure to tag their *unofficial* account and they will repost!
The Genie Wall
The Genie wall is another hidden gem, very easy to miss. It’s located at the end of the Aladdin’s Enchanted Passage walkthrough in Adventure Land. It’s worth noting that the lighting is not the best, so you will probably have to play around with the brightness of the photo before it hits your Instagram feed!
Fantasia Gardens
There are so many beautiful spots to take photos in Fantasia Gardens. I’d be here all day if I tried to list them all, but my favourite spot is at this railing. It’s far enough back that it allows you to get a huge portion of the Disneyland Hotel in your photo.
The Domino Wall
The Domino wall is located in Toy Story Playland at Walt Disney Studios. Toy Story Playland is designed to make you feel like you’ve been shrunk down to the size of a toy, so immersive! There are a lot of wonderful photo ops in this area, but this one is my favourite.
Construction Walls

It is really disappointing when you book a holiday to Disneyland Paris, only to find out that one of your favourite rides will be closed during your trip! However, all is not lost. Generally when a ride is closed, Disney put up some very aesthetically pleasing construction walls to hide the damage. Every cloud has a silver lining!
Where is your favourite spot to take photos at Disneyland Paris? Are there any that I’ve missed?
Let me know in the comments!
I also want to give a shout out to my friend Jazzy for coming up with the idea for this post!
