Hey friends!

Firstly, I really hope that you and all of your families are safe and well. These are strange times!

You may have noticed a bit of a change around here!

MeganSays.com has become MeganLovesDisney.com !

It’s been amazing running Megan Says for the last couple of years but seeing as my content has niched down to Disneyland Paris and Disney parks – it was time for a name change!

I am also doing a full re-brand across all of my social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook!

Disney Trips!

I have AT LEAST 2 Disney trips coming up – one in October 2020 and one in November 2020. I’ll be doing my usual trip reports, hauls, reviews etc. Hopefully by then things will have “settled” at bit at Disneyland Paris and I’ll be able to do some tips and hacks posts for Disneyland Paris in the “new normal”.

I have tonnes of content ideas for both trips but as always, if there’s something you would like me to cover – please drop me an e-mail or a DM on Instagram!

And now to address the elephant in the room…

Why Hasn’t This Blog Been Updated?

It’s important for me to say that I’ve really missed posting regularly on this blog. I hated seeing it sitting there dormant for the last few months but I’ve held off for a few reasons:

1. The parks were closed and for a long time, no-one knew if their holidays were going to happen. Putting out parks content felt a little insensitive to the situation.

2. I had a cancelled Disney trip – We were supposed to be visiting Disneyland Paris in June 2020 for Disneyland Paris Pride. We were due to be there for a week and I had SO many content ideas. BUT due to COVID – the event and the trip were cancelled.

3. Even though the parks have reopened now – things are very different and constantly changing. The tips, hacks, reviews etc that I posted previously, are not currently valid.

For example, all of the character experiences I’ve reviewed are paused indefinitely and it doesn’t feel right to promote/share those posts when these are not currently experiences guests can enjoy.

Essentially, I don’t want to spread misinformation.

Hopefully as soon as things start to “settle” and we get an idea of what normal is going to be in the parks – I can update posts and guides. At the moment, things are changing daily and there’s no way I could keep up!

What Else is New?

Aside from the obvious new logo and theming…

I’ve added a Characters page in the top menu – I thought it would be a fun way to keep up with our character count! I’ll be updating this every time we meet a new character in the parks!
